I was there unnoticed for three hours until a nurse came up and told me I had to leave. I explained that I was waiting for someone and she said that that was a lie and that I was homeless. I disagreed and said that I was waiting for a friend. She explained that I had been snoring and that I had been asleep for an hour. I was very tired but I had no awareness of having fallen asleep and after she asked me nicely to leave as the hospital was not insured for people sleeping or staying in the hospital who did not need to be there, I left.

Does the poem have a start, a middle and an end? Can I make better use of any of the words? Have I put tone into the poem? Does the poem read well? Have I put feeling into the poem? Would other people enjoy my poem? When you have convinced yourself that you are happy with your work then go ahead and be proud and show off your work to as many people as possible. Listen to the feedback that they give you; it may not always be positive but remember any feedback is good feedback and that feedback will allow you to progress to be a better poet and writer.
