The two-volume set LNAI 7094 and LNAI 7095 constitutes the refereed complaints of the tenth Mexican overseas convention on synthetic Intelligence, MICAI 2011, held in Puebla, Mexico, in November/December 2011. The ninety six revised papers offered have been rigorously reviewed and chosen from quite a few submissions. the 1st quantity contains 50 papers representing the present major subject matters of curiosity for the AI group and their purposes. The papers are geared up within the following topical sections: automatic reasoning and multi-agent structures; challenge fixing and desktop studying; ordinary language processing; robotics, making plans and scheduling; and scientific purposes of man-made intelligence.

Mixed multi-unit combinatorial auctions (MMUCAs) offer a high potential to be employed for the automated assembly of supply chains of agents. However, in order for mixed auctions to be effectively applied to supply chain formation, we must ensure computational tractability and reduce bidders’ uncertainty.

Through the negotiation process, the incidents were assigned in an efficient way to the technical staff according to the scheduling algorithm configured. Dynamic balancing policy provided the best results regarding to restore the service quality from the viewpoint of technical staff and the responsible of the organization. New individual agents were easily developed and reconfigured during the testing of the system. All in all, the use of a multiagent paradigm has much to offer with respect to traditional approaches allowing automate the services of the application and incorporate new agent capabilities and functionalities to the application in a flexible and scalar way when it is required through a cost-effective way.

In this paper, we show multiagent systems potential to solve incident management problems.
